High Lane occurs as village in the metropolitan borough of Stockport in Greater Manchester, in North West England.

A village sits on the Macclesfield Canal, the Middlewood Way and the A6, a major highroad inside England connecting Luton in the south with Carlisle in the north. A nigh railway station to High Lane is Middlewood station.

A village is bordered per villages of Hazel Grove to the north, Marple to the east, and Disley (in the county of Cheshire) to the south. Since a village is in the foothills of the Pennines, on clear times it affords a few fantabulous views of the city of Manchester and surrounding towns.

High Lane has deuce schools; High Lane Primary School and Brookside Primary School. It too has 2 churches; St. Thomas' church (Church of England) and Windlehurst Methodist Church. There are trine parks around High Lane, Brookside Park, Windlehurst Park and High Lane Park, which is the largest and around 2000 had a little skatepark installed.

A local Member of Parliament for High Lane is Andrew Stunell, a member of the Liberal Democrats.
